1. general provisions

This User Agreement and Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the «Agreement») governs the use of the mobile application Lazorex App (hereinafter referred to as the «Annex»), the developer of which is RICO TECHNOLOGY SRL (Republic of Moldova).

The application is designed to work with the measuring device Lazorex and is used for measuring, drawing, project work and order management.

By installing and using the Application, you confirm that you have read and fully agree to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree with its terms, you must stop using the Application.

2. Data collection and utilization

2.1 General provisions

The Lazorex App processes the minimum required amount of data in order to ensure the functionality of the meter and the application.

2.2 Registering and initializing the device

When using the Lazorex meter for the first time, the following steps are performed one-time registration and initialization of the device.

As part of this procedure:

The Lazorex App utilizes meter serial number to access the manufacturer's server;

by device serial number from the manufacturer's server are uploaded to the Application necessary technical parameters and service settings to ensure correct operation of the meter.

Downloadable data include:

• technical parameters of the device;
• service settings required to ensure the accuracy and stability of measurements.

User data (measurements, drawings, projects, orders, customer base) are not transferred to the server.

After the registration and initialization of the device is complete constant exchange of user data between the Application and the manufacturer's server is not performed.

2.3 Checking for updates

When the App is running and there is an Internet connection, Lazorex App may access the manufacturer's server, including for:

• check for interface updates;
• error correction;
• improvements to the functionality of the Application.

User data (measurements, drawings, projects, orders, customer base) are not transferred.

The user can prevent the automatic updating of the Application through the operating system settings of their device.
In this case, the update will only be performed manually or not at all.

2.4 Data stored only on the user's device

All of the following data is stored exclusively on the user's device and is not transferred to the developer:

• measurement results;
• drawings and designs;
• orders;
• customer base and contacts.

2.5 Geolocation

Geolocation is only used for the correct operation of the Bluetooth connection with the Lazorex device (e.g. to search for nearby devices as required by the operating system).

Geolocation data:

• are not saved;
• are not given to the developer;
• are not used to track the user's location.

2.6 Personal data

We do not collect or store personal data of users (name, phone number, e-mail, etc.), unless the user provides such data when contacting technical support (by e-mail, phone, messengers, etc.).

3. App store data

App stores (Google Play, App Store) may independently collect and process technical information about your device and use of the App, including:

• device model;
• operating system version;
• interface language;
• download and crash statistics.

The said data is processed by the respective app stores in accordance with their own privacy policies and is not controlled by the App developer.

4. Data transmission and protection

Data exchange between the Lazorex meter and the Application is performed via Bluetooth using standard security mechanisms provided by the device operating system.

We're do not transmit user data (measurements, drawings, projects, orders, customer contacts) to third parties.

The serial number of the device and service technical parameters used during registration and initialization are protected with the use of modern information security means and are used for official purposes.

5. Data storage

All measurements, drawings, designs and client files are stored only on the user's device. The user is responsible for data safety (backup, transfer to a new device, etc.).

The developer's server may store proprietary information only, including:

• the serial number of the Lazorex device;
• technical parameters and settings of the device within the scope of service information.

If the Application is deleted from the device, all locally saved data is removed

(measurements, drawings, designs, orders, etc.) will be irretrievably lost,

as the current version of the Application does not provide a backup mechanism.

6. Appendices Approvals

For correct operation Lazorex App may request the following authorizations:

• Bluetooth access - to locate and connect to the Lazorex meter;
• geolocation access - only in the amount necessary for the Bluetooth connection to work as required by the operating system.

The user can change or revoke these permissions in the operating system settings. In this case, the connection and operation functions of the meter may be limited or unavailable.

7. Advertising and notices

appendix contains no third-party advertising (banner, network, etc.).

The Application may display:

• service notifications related to updates to the Application or the appliance;
• information about new Lazorex products and solutions.

8. Children's access

The app is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 and is intended for professional use.

9. User rights

The user has the right to:

• delete the App and all locally saved data from the device;
• delete the Application data via the operating system settings («Clear Data», «Reset Application», etc.);
• contact technical support to obtain information on the nature and scope of data processed by the Application.

11. amendments to the Agreement

Developer may update this Agreement due to changes in the functionality of the Application, legal requirements or internal processes.

An up-to-date version of the Agreement is always available on the website https://lazorex.com and/or in the Appendix.

By continuing to use the Application after the publication of the new version of the Agreement on the website https://lazorex.com and in the Application, the user confirms agreement with its new version.

The Lazorex App does not require an account and can be used without a permanent internet connection.
